Making Me Bleed
28 April, 2002

vinebar

lies fill your mouth
gagging and choking
until you cough them out
falling, screaming, tumbling down
around the floor they'll slide searching
looking for me
and when their prey is found
they'll cling on like leeches
making me bleed
they'll lick and suck gently
just enough to tease
then they'll grab on full force
taste my blood refusing to release
the lies will be all over
everywhere i look, all that i see
they'll be like demons in hell
numerous with the intent of killing
first my heart will break
into a thousand shattered devastated pieces
then my mind will wonder
begging to know something that is real
but the lies is all i'll hear
my body will shake
and i'll go crazy with its quake
screaming at all the sinners who made me believe
to go to hell
but that's where the lies originated
and returning won't hurt
it will only make them colder
fuel their hearts even more
so they'll bite and eat me
making my blood their own
till they bleed me dry
and can take my soul
the lies will kill me
from a mouth i once believed
only the demons were lurking inside
just waiting for the chance to breath
i'll never forgive
and i'll never again trust
each day the lies will continue to feed
all that you said
forever living with me
slowly killing
