Part-timer

vinebar

a part-time friend
is something I'll never let myself be
i would hide away ashamed
hoping no one would see
a friend who is there only some times
isn't a friend at all
it's a statue that sits and waits for a chance
not something that truly loves
a part-time friend
is a foe and fiend to all
a player and a hater
downward they'll make you fall
a true friend is always available
no matter who or what stands in their way
a friend who will help you through all mazes
a friend who is there to stay
a part-time friend I will never be
i am much more than that, stronger in the way I feel
i would never turn my back on them no matter what
my friends will become and remain my everything
