Guarding Hearts

I sit and stair
wish i could be there
but i must guard my heart.

The lovers of another
our want is strong
but we must be apart.

Here we sit at a distance
Guarding Hearts
From what you say?
From the love we wish for,the love
we are dreaming of, for the love we cant have.
Guarding hearts just like days before.

Everything in us says jump
everything around us says stop
What do we do? What do we say?
We just sit here at a distance

Guarding Hearts
From what you say?
From the love we wish for, for the love
we are dreaming of, for the love we cant have,
For the love we wish would stay.
Guarding hearts just like days before.

I want you to hold me tight
like those two nights.
Our dreams unfolded and
disappeared with the morning sun.

Guarding Hearts until
life is done.
Until life is threw
and our wishs come true.
