Should We

we're going to war
do you know what for?
to create independance for the oppressed
so they will no longer be stressed
they can run, dance, and sing
w/o the permission of their "king"
they will soon have the freedom we take advantage of
w/o the heirarchy above
all it takes is war,
but is that too high of a cost?
for many soldiers will be lost
fighting for a cause that hardly benefits themselves
to keep the Iraqi people safe and well
but through all this americans are still hated
"are they good or bad?" the Iraqi people debated
some might say, "americans should mind their own bussiness"
and ignore the world's mess?
should we keep quiet and let others suffer,
while we sit down to eat our supper?
Is it right to let them be twisted and twirled?
and not do any thing b/c we are on the other side of the world?
you decide, you have the right to your own opinion
but as u decide, think of those who arent like you or I,
who have no say or opinion
in what is done
