In The Pursuit Of Happiness

There are times
When it is not that we are ungrateful
For what we have
It is that we require to have it
In some other way
Some other form
In order to survive
Or be enlightened

The day that life stands still
And holds it's breath
Anticipating our next move
Is the day that we shall hold our breath
For our lives too
And what it beholds
Beyond neverending horizons

And so it is evident
That achievement - comes only with sacrifices
Success - comes only with disappointment
And Love - comes only with many, many losses.....

There are times
When we question our own ability
To be grateful for what we have
Instead of always striving
For that which we do not
But is it wrong
To seek for that which we believe
Will complete us?

Truth

Pamela O'Brien! Yep! I agree all the way with you! Just being grateful and thankful for what we have, will take us far! We have to earn what we want in life! Very well written on life journeys!
Let's give Pamela O'Brien, a cheer for such astounding work!
"In the Pursuit of Happiness"!
