Angels rise
Demons fall
But in the end
We'll rule us all
We make our fate
We carve in stone
The world in which we live
Is our own
We see what we want to see
We think what we wish to think
And what we overlook
Was what we need for our lives to link
We isolate ourselves from man
We crave the need to love
And here I am, the outcast
Who loves, not isolates, free like a dove.

Bravo! Bravo!

Gorgeous poem, I loved it so much! I love the line: "We see what we want to see, We think what we want to think, And what we overlook, Was what we need for our lives to link". I thought that part very profound in some way! Great poem, Keep writing, I'll keep reading!
