We Are Never Apart

As time rolls forward and our shells here pass on,
We are reminded just how mortal we are,
Generations pass but our memories grow,
Of the times we were together with stories to tell,
Time will heal and you’ll live on,
In all the soles you blessed with your touch,

Now you’re above where your journey now begins,
No easy way to let you know,
That I’ll miss you dear not knowing you’re here,
From time to time I’ll feel you near,
As you watch over me from above,
In two places you’ll be for this I know,
Here in our hearts and there above,

Time will pass and we’ll meet again,
So until that day I’ll miss so much,
You’re voice,
The touch of you’re hand,
To talk about family grown,
Our babies have grown with children of their own,
Generations have been also have passed,
Never have we been far Apart.

A good friends mum's Brother passed this week, he lived a full life, I wrote the above as the mum was on my thoughts.
I shall give it to her on Sunday at Tea.

Clive,

This was so beautifully written, with so much love and concern..she is gonna love this...100% guaranteed..a friend of my husband ,that i had barely met on the day of my husbands burial ,did the same for me ,he wrote a poem during the services . tears filled his eyes as he was the one whom presented me with the flag .he also handed me the poem along w/a long paused hug... the funeral director walked me to the car as i was unable to handle much more. it meant so much that one life touched so many that i never knew..so i tell you ..she will love it and cherish it for a lifetime..hugs to you my caring friend Terrie*

Losing Someone Dear

It's never easy to take tragic news, such as someone passing away, and entering a new, happy life, where joy waits on the other side.... Looking at pictures, holding on to memories, the way they smiled, their personality! Even though we may mourn now, our hearts rejoice, knowing where they'll be!

Smiles,
Meridian
