Keep On Praying

Please keep on praying for these brave men and women,
Who are sacrificing so much in a far away land.
They never dreamed, in their wildest dreams,
They'd be called to take this defensive stand.

This war is affecting all our lives,
As we get the first hand account on T.V.
No matter if you are for or against this war,
It's something we'd rather not constantly see.

Most of the time it shows the fighting going on,
In this God forsaken place.
But, one thing it doesn't show,
Is the terror and hunger in a little child's face.

It doesn't show the natives fleeing their towns,
When they hear the sirens and bombs at night.
Or the mother's with their arms around their children,
Holding them ever so tight.

You never know what horrors we'll see during a war.
WAR IS HELL, why does it have to be?
Will there ever be a time in our future,
When NO MORE WARS will we see?

(So on this Memorial Day and always
KEEP ON PRAYING.
