Instead

I will always remember what you said
Never hold back step forward instead
What happened to that strong sense of faith I felt from you
These days you look nothing but blue
Now its my turn to help you see a flicker of light
As you walked out of the 7 11 saying you didnt get the job
I saw you starting to sob....
I took you to a cafe and said ,"don't give up try again instead
well you got another job and its a good one too
you shared with me the news on a rainy july day at noon
I looked down trying to seem happy but i was feeling crappy really really crappy
you looked me in the eye and said whats wrong with you now!
i sadid oh ive blown it but how ?! how?!
You said well what did you blow!!
I said I had a chance to adopt a pet crow!
But i didnt now i feel bad ya know?
You looked at me and laughed
and said it will be ok when the road of life gets bumpy
and your rosy cheeks are no longer red

dont give up try to adopt another crow instead!
