No More Awkward Silences
26 April, 2003

In love, silence is a gift
There are no awkward moments
Waiting for the other to speak
And rid you of the tension

In love, silence screams
Because one another’s presence
Is worth more than any words
And it can be mesmerizing

No more awkward silences
Just quiet, tender moments
To be treasured above all else
They are the times that count

Well, I'm always wondering what love feels like and how you can tell if your in love....and this whole silence thing is something i don't think i woulda thought of. Makes perfect sense though.....

Good Writing Pam :)

You comment on almost all of my poems, I am beginning to think of you as a fan of sorts! It's great that the poem made you look at love from a different (and rather strange) angle.
Thanks again for always writing a few nice words.
