Daddy can't you
see i'm not the
tiniest little girl
i can be i know you
love me and care
but don't you see
the baby you once
had isn't no longer
me!

I love you aand you
know i do but you have to
trust to and let me be
what i mean give me a little
more space.

What i mean not
saying i want to
date or anything
but can't
i just like talk to a guy
or hang out with one and
let it be because now
as i grow up you can't always
make that decision in
my life i love
oh yes i do but dad give me a little more
space please!

growing up

hard to believe being the parent is as hard as being the kid.. Growing up and letting go is as hard as wanting the freedom.. Hope you get a bit more space... I liked this poem it spoke of growing up in a very universal way..
