This Single Rose

vinebar

this single rose
is a token
a heartfelt commitment
of my love unspoken

hear it in your heart
feel it in your soul

taste the aroma
feel the softness
in the innocence of each petals touch

inhale the beauty of it's art
let the love I send your way
make me a part of you today

this single rose stands alone
and apart from other roses so true
just to be closer to you

this single rose
speaks high in volume
from my very heart

in your eternal sleep
open your heart and soul
listen to the soft whisper
as it echoes in your heart

"Babe I love you"

Of All The Roses In This Garden, There Is only ONE

Terrie,

What heart, could not hear this rose, surrounded, in a rose garden, why does it speak, so soft, yet so direct, how does its voice, overcome all the other roses in the same garden?

Perhaps, its birth, is not from the normal seed, God gives beauty to them all, but only few, does he give his love. That is the one I hear, that is the one I see, that is.., th one I want to touch!
