You're such the opposite
Darker than I yearned for
Deeper than I intended
You're more, simply more
You're not at all what I wanted
Not my idea of perfection until I fell
Into a backwards dreams creation
Created by the opposite of the wishes I hopelessly threw into a well

I never imagined this is where I'd be
Here with you beside me
I never imagined this is what I'd wish to never end
This with you, my lover-my friend

You're quite the opposite
More unbearably irresistable than I yearned for
More painful yet curing
You're more, simply more
You're not at all what I wanted
Not my idea of a world complete until I fell
Into a backwards dreams creation of love
Created by the opposite of the wishes I hopelessly threw into a well

I never imagined this is where I'd be
Here with you beside me
I never imagined this is what I'd wish to never end
This with you, my lover-my friend
I never imagined myself, by the opposite, swept away

i loved the last line of this poem. perfect ending. ive had days where i would just sit back and imagine how i never would have thought i would be where i am now. if that makes any sense. heh...anywhoo...great work.
