You Never Know
10 June, 2004

When we are younger we're told our
thoughts and opinions are silly.

We grow up afraid to voice our
thoughts in case we're told it's silly.

Then we get older and our thoughts
are considered wise and witty.

As we get older things change we
aren't as intimidated or shy ,life
experiences make us grow.

With age comes wisdom, so don't
give up, because you
NEVER KNOW

I agree

Oh yes Barb! -- I an relate to this. I used to be so shy when I was young and worried about what people thought of me. Now I'm older and have more of life's experiences behind me, I certainly feel more confident in myself.

Good writing Barb

You're very right!

As always, I didn't even have to read your poem to know that you're right because you're right all the time! Now, that's refreshing! Yep! We never really know where our knowledge will take us, but it's up to us to come out of our shell, and gain faith and believe that what we say will never be silly. The only silly thing is, if we hold our opinions inside, and never voice them... It's up to us if we want to take that step.....
Your poems are good all the time Barb!
Smiles,
Meridian
