We search for true love high and low,
When we can't find it, it's a blow.

Our ego is shot,
We wonder why it's over when in the beginning it was so hot.

What we thought was love was just
animal desires.

True love has nothing to do with sex.

True love is having the well being of
that special one in their best interest.

Wanting their happiness first.

Putting their wants and needs before
your own.

Some won't agree but I found out what true love is,
and to me it's the welfare of him I crave, not sex

You speak with warning and truth. As I look back, when I was young, I felt love, was many things, now that I am older, and hope, wiser, like you. I feel the flame of love, give way to inspiration and gratitude, that God, allowed me, to love you.

Still, late at night, with you by my side, my passion, Oh, never mind, point is, I STILL, AND Have ALWAYS...., LOVEd YOU!

to love somebody you don't even know is a nice compliment but I must tell you Martin I'm not really that nice looking as a matter of fact I'm down right ugly and dumpy.

True words again, Barb. This is so well thought out. I think it's only when you get older that you realise that when the passion dwindles in a relationship, true love has to be there deep down otherwise there is nothing left. I don't think I've explained that well -- hope you understand what I mean
