Bearing its own will
I stand alone
Stranded; broken
Forgotten, on my own
I am just a window
Something you see through
If only you saw me
How I could see you
But now it's solitude
My only friend
It's only solitude
Unto my end
Nothing's unbroken
Nothing's untouched
But with solitude
Reality, I've clutched

This is actually the prelude to a song-in-progress, I'm writing, my very first. I suppose it's the hatred that ignites this inspiration and depression that feeds it. Anyway, I'd appreciate some feedback on the idea, and I'll end up putting up the finished product up when I get done. Sheesh, I never knew a first song took so long to write.. |
