My Love

I was as any other girl,
Though that was long ago,
When kissing made me blush,
And love I did not know.

I was too scared to say hello,
Too scared to wave a hand,
But in my heart I knew,
Someday I’d find my man.

I knew love would grow in me,
I would just have to wait,
And I waited so patiently,
I knew my love was fate.

One enchanting day I we met,
He could tell I liked him so much,
He would place his hand on mine,
It was an overwhelming touch.

One day our lips joined,
My nervousness had fled,
And in my heart I smiled,
I knew someday we’d wed.

That day has not come yet,
For it is a promise we hold,
Now we watch each other grow,
We watch our lives unfold.

You must believe in faith,
And know that it is there,
For I believed it too,
And now my Will is here…

Wait ing patiently

Waiting patiently for that moment to come Trina..... Yep, it's good to see you leaning on faith to find true love..... One day, it'll come, where you'll find your knight in shining armor, riding on a horse, just like the fiction characters in the books! LOL! Sweeeeeet poem Trina!

Smiles,
Meridian
