Some days we just want to escape.
A place where there are no problems.
A place without worries.
To go some place with no stress,
Wouldn't it be nice, for a while to escape?

Secret Closet

Sometimes, I lock my doors in my room, to think, and just breathe through my nose.... Or sometimes, I find a secure place in my mind, or heart, to escape life's trials.... Very good analogy there Barb! This is another beautifully described poem!

Take care,
Smiles,
Meridian

Mmm... I write poems to escape too, though I don't get so much time these days.
I'd like to find a place that's peaceful with no phones ringing to disturb your thoughts... know what I mean?

how true

To find that secret place, I think I'd stay if just for a while,
I write in hope that I find this place, but then I'd fill it with the people I'd miss
Thank YOu Barb for seeing these words and sharing
