someday we will meet
someday my friend
it will be you and I
someday we will talk
all night long
and walk side by side
through the park
someday we will share
things of the past
and things that will last
and that is the friendship
of yours and mine
your friendship always ready to respond
the closeness a rare bond
nothing wrong with
two friends sharing
and embracing
a great friendship like yours and mine
we undersatand human pain
and friendship gain
for all our tomorrows
we bury all our sorrows
