My Journey by Tammy

Yesterday has brought me here,
with more pain then I can carry.

My feet I had planted in time,
only to have them uprooted.

I am a lost child, hungry for love.
Starvation shows deep in these eyes.

Saddness I have crawled through to
open many doors in my life.
Only to have them slammed in my face.

Pain bleeds within my soul...Pain
I have collected through my years.
(And time has brought me no where)

This road I have traveled alone,
searching for answers.

With this journey I shall regain my
strength to move on.

So I fill my heart full of courage,
while my feet lead me down this
lonely road of faith.

Good evening Tammy! You may be alone, but traveling the road of FAITH, is worth it... Moving on, looking ahead, without worrying about yesterday.... This was truly an amazing description!

Tammy,the way you put words and feelings in this peom is wonderful.At sometime or another we all have felt pain and sadness but like the last verse says fill your heart with courage and keep walking the road of faith in time it wont be so lonely

Meridian....Thanks so much for your comments, you understand my words, I moved on yrs ago, but my heart still lives in the past, but Faith will
help me find my way. Your poems help me alot!!!!

Travel as you must, until, Faith, brings you love

If, as you say, you travel down this road with faith, you will not get lost, seems to me, there is always pain, before pleasure. Seems to me experiece, leads to treasure. Tammy, you and, we seem to think and feel, a lot alike. Yet, the roads, are custom made, designed for you and me, to lead us, to where, we all want to go. In my heart, there is a soul, I try to reach, I hope this road, that I'm on, leads to her. I pray the road, you are on, will lead you to your treasure, to. One thing, I can say, you faith like mine, is all we have, good company, don't you think?
