had a dream it went away
It left a tear drop falling from my heart
so much I need to learn
about the love i must earn
I woke up and began to cry
my heart so heavy
didn't understand why
so childlike am I
so fragile is my heart
my tears made me see
what my heart was tryin' to tell me
alone I've been for too long
I misinterpret everything all wrong
my emotions have gotten the best of me
if I could I'd erase the slate
the flame of my love burns for you
everything about you I yearn
every night In my dreams I take you with me
every morning you’re my source of fresh air
a renewed strength of my own
but leave it to me
to screw it up and put myself one notch
further away from your heart
I come back
my heart intact
asking you to please
forgive me
as I get down on my knees
and display my love for you
will you still love me back?
