Staying Away....

is it still yet so wrong to have such strong feelings for you?
forgive me for not bein' able to let go
my love went too deep..
let me let go on my own time..
you see that is why I need to stay away,
my feelings are so intense
but I do have to respect you and your bride
you are starting a new life w/some one
and I have often wished it was me receiving your love
but then reality kicks in and my bubble bursts..this is real
some hearts heal as others break away..
your soft words caress my wounds..thank you.
I just wish we were more
I carry you in my heart
to set you free is the only thing left to do
and start life w/you as a friend
I just do not have the strength to do it today
but I can stay away...
