One Nation Under God

Our world, so uncertain, our world, so unfree.
Successfully we've battled the wars, hunger and strfe.
There never was a time in history
When the whole wide world was at peace.

Religion was the cause of many wars.
We wonder the reason why.
Only atheists do not worship a God.
How you worship your God should be your choice.

With all the wars going on right now.
Our world is a very noisy place,
Filled with sounds of planes, guns, and bombs,
And desperate cries of the dying, wounded and starving.

So many prayers are going up to you, dear God.
The sounds of silence is what we'd like to hear.
So pleae put LOVE in every heart,
And faith in our fellow man.

Maybe the sounds of silence gradually would come forth,
Then, finally PEACE would prevail.
