Seeing you
infront of me
sitting turned..
intense stare
the softness there
upon your face
the locked smile
I wish
I can free..
the warmth
in your eyes
I see.
Roaming my hand
all over your image
touching..
feeling..
with tenderness.
Would I feel the stubble
upon the sides
as my palm touches
the cheek
tracing your lips..
your neck..
your sleeve.
Holding the hand
kept casually there
I kiss the palm with the softest touch
to tell you...
that as I see you...
I miss you..
so very much

That's a picture-perfect poem Moonstarshine! Looking at a photograph, and reflecting back on memories... I've had a similar experience, with one of my friends... They moved away, and I'm glad we took pictures of each other to remind us of the FUN times we had! I love this poem!
Keep it up Moon!

The Heart flutters, Like A Camera Lens, Then I see

Moonstarshine,

To feel the touch, when live words and hot flesh are not there, to feel your heart, telling you how much you care, to see a moon-light beam as drifts through a cloud, or, to see a star, flash across the sky. A tear, appears, in your heart's eye.
I, perhaps, all of us who read this poem, feel what you feel when love is there or so, far away. I felt, the touch of your heart, I to love, and my love is so far away, yet, so, near to me, I can feel the pain, from, so far away, my lonely heart, lives off of dreames, off of...,what may be.

I feel and I see, blinded by the love, I have found, somtimes I see, more rain, then the sushine..., peircing through a cloud, yet, I feel for her, as you feel in these words, you heart shares with us. When my heart, blinks, like a camera's shutter will, and bring in the light, like, you, I feel that love. No negative, everything, is positive, I have the touch, of love in my heart.

Moonstarshine, I didn't mean to ride my heart upon your poem, yet, it seems, you are asking all of us, to understand, and I do...,

whatever is left behind are but images which we try to bring to life from time to time and that moment is just beautiful when that person is there in front of you ..alive
Martin, your comment was absoloutely poetic in itself..lets say it enhanced the poem in a more deeper sense and to get a comment as beautiful as yours ..it completes the poem! thank you

Poetry

Your sweet spirit shines shyly through your words;
A tree, complicit, rustles. Do I hear your voice?
Or is it but the nightingale, lamenting
Night as it passes, fearful of the day
And what it holds within its tremulous breast?

times past

I always look at old photographs and wonder what I or the person in the picture did before the picture was taken and what the person did after the picture and what future that person has lived. and if it was myself I wonder what I did after and think of all the time between that picture and now. good write, thanks
