The Reviving Rain
16 July, 2004
Author: Keith

vinebar

I look upon the rolling hills
Across the darkened sky
Nothing seems to trouble me
As the rain falls from heaven high

The pain begins to dissipate
My spirit cleansed by falling rain
Giving me strength to live again
Breaking away my chains

I run across the grassy fields
Happy to be alive
Breathing in the rain scent air
Smiling as my soul revives
