I'm going up town tonight with my mates,
it's my 18 th birthday,
so that means I can stay out
LATE!
LATE!
LATE!

It's 5:00pm now and we have to get the 7:50pm train,
I know it sounds like a long time to get ready
but you see people I'm just so
VAIN!
VAIN!
VAIN!

We meet in the pub next to the station to get a
few starters in us, Alan gives me a little pill,
says it will give me a
RUSH!
RUSH!
RUSH!

2 hours later I'm dead,
that was certainly a rush,
I can't bare to think of my family's hearts that I've
CRUSHED!
CRUSHED!
CRUSHED!

Great rhyming!

Drugs and alcohol eh? Oh Hushy, hushy! Such exclamatory words! Late, vain, rush, crushed! Wow! Great fiction story! I like the events that take place.... From the train, to the pub, to the station.... OH you're great! It must be a full moon out, ----this is what I gather from your lovely description! Beautiful poem! Smiles, Meri

There is enough in life that can destroy us . So sad that there is destruction done willingly, Good way of letting people know drugs and drinking can be hurtful to yourself and others.
