Your My Forever Friend..

friends we became
friends we are
friends we will continue to be
sometimes our friends know us better
than we know ourselves
and you are proof of that
sitting side to side
as we prayed for others
before the happiness
in our own lifes
many nights you stayed awake
when you called
when you found I was feeling ill
you stayed on the phone until I fell asleep
I prayed you well
you even called to make sure
I made it safely into my work place
you'd e-mail an I'm thinking of you
every time you sensed I was feeling down
sometimes we need to release as we lose control
usually it's our friends we call upon
you called me up early in the mornings
to wish me well for the day
that meant so much to me
to give so much of your time
even though in this life
sometimes our lives get busier along the way
we know that we are there to give of our time
and we're never too busy
to make time for one another
I am so proud of you
and all that you have accomplished
I feel so blessed
having found a true friend in you
in our lifes we move on
we move away
but our friendship
a one of a kind bond
became stronger as time passed on
to see you glow
with happiness
makes me feel content
isn't it strange
when we see ourselves
in the lifes and heart of someone else?
like a mirror we know how happy
and fullfilled our life would be
just by glancing into the eyes of our friends
they are the ones
whom have helped us get where we are
by standing by us
even when there were things
in our lifes were too personal to share
we still knew
the pain
the happiness
our friends were or are going through...
it makes me happy
to continue to have you
as my number one special friend....
