The night has tickled
with carefree caresses
that cause them quiver,
enticing their winks
of delight -- amused
by the frowns
of the fusty old sky.
Flaunting pale makeup
the moon drifts across
the glittering stage,
eager to join
the frolicsome throng.
He flirts with the stars,
who scatter soft kisses
and smirk at the scowls
from the sky.
At dawn the sun slithers
into the scene
poking her fingers
into the morning.
The sky-larkers snuggle
under the duvet
that covers the dark,
transforming the sky
for a fresh smiling day.

This one just came to me in a `mad moment' -- don't think I'll ever think of one like it again.
