The Waking Chamber
22 June, 2003

i'm all alone in this place,
i don't recognize my own face
nothing feels safe anymore
everyone's heart is a rotten core
i am not anything
i'm placed in a dark room
shadows begin to fill the walls
insects begin to roam in the halls...
of my mind,
a peace i cannot find
to this echoless chamber, i'm confined
i cannot survive...
my eyes remain open for the longest,
i cannot open my mouth to protest,
remain here i must,
nothing else i trust.
