Today
My heart was broken!
And filled with sadness!
My heart weights heavily within my chest tonight.
They have planted the seed within her little heart
And turned her against me.
When she told me that she didn’t want to see me this weekend,
My heart felt as if it would never beat again!
The rose of life has many thorns
But none so far have pierced my heart
Like her little voice did today.
You see I love my little girl with all my heart
She has always been Daddy’s little tomboy!
All I can do now is pray to God above
And ask him to watch after her for me!
The only thing left to say to my little girl!
Just remember,
Daddy
Loves you!
And
I will always and forever be just a phone call away.
