The faces that I do not know
Makes me miss the ones I do
The voices that I hear
Makes me miss the ones I knew

And if you could hear the words
that come down her lonely face
from all the things she's heard
she's tired of running this hateful race.

She cant' find her place
it seems she's always done wrong
someone always on her case
singing the words to her own song

She wants to go back home
to the only place she really knows
she's so tired of feeling alone.
