Soft Hearted
Author: Barbara Goodhew

Being rough and tough some think it's cool.

Being soft meek some think is whimpy.

Some brag about how tough they were.

Some talk about how meek they were.

What an eye -opener.

Most felt meek was sweet.

Rough and tough talk is what most found sickening.

Soft-Hearted people are spoken ill of and thought of
as spineless.
Yet soft-hearted people are who the rough and tough turn to for help.

So true

Once again you write words of wisdom,Barb. Even the tough have problems and need to turn to someone -- usually the ones they have though weak. Great thoughts--well written.

Hey girlfriend! Barb, my sister! What's happening? Soft Hearted, is the way to go! Barb, you're a compassionate, honest, and a softy, (talking about your heart now)..... You fit the title of your poem, and it truly was an enjoyable read!

Take care!
