Running To The Pony Line
30 September, 2004
Author: Terrie*
when the fair is in town
two excited children we become
the amusement rides are fine
but we run to stand in the pony line
mommy and daddy know what we like
corn dogs horse races and a good beer for daddy
basket ball hoop game, bean bag toss and pony rides
for my baby brother and i
mommy enjoys the concerts the bands
and the magical shows held at the grand stand
every autumn we let out a big cheer
when the fair is here
to get on the awesome pony rides
