As I Sit Here Thinking

As I sit here thinking of you,
Thoughts spin around about you and me,
Together we are and shall always be,
Together we’ve been so many times before,
You tell it as I see it,
We both know each other well
I say it before you speak it,
We scare each other at times,
We laugh together sharing memories,
Spend nights sharing our souls,
Spending time together just feeling our way,
You know me so well even far away,
I feel a tear as it stains down your face,
Your heart beats together in mine,
Racing together so we both can enjoy,
Our friendship grows stronger day to day,
Our love grows to an infinite end,
As I sit here thinking of you tonight,
I wonder if you’re thinking of me tonight.
