At The End Of The Day

vinebar

at the end of the day when you finely get home
barely getting your shoes off when there goes the phone
you look at your watch to check the time
now you know who is on the line
when you pick up the phone and here that jolly voice say
hey little buddy its about time you got home
laughing he would say hope you have had a good day

we had a lot of good times and some were bad
like the long stays in the hospital he sometimes would have
but we made the best out of every day
because we would not have it any other way

missing him deeply hoping to see him again
knowong hes with the lord now no more sickness and pain
now hearing that phone ring at that time of night
emotions erupt that are to strong to fight
knowing its not my best friends voice saying
call me if you need me love you and have a good night

simply deep

Sometimes death of a loved one/family member, can sometimes seem implausible. I don't even wanna believe that someone has crossed over Jordan, because that feeling of grief, burden, heartache, and etc.

This was emotional. I send you my heartfelt words, my sincerity, my love, and everything else, because I know how it feels to lose someone too.

Take care Goofyone,
Smiley face,
Meri
