this little symbol means a lot to me.
a circular reminder that love has no end
from the day you gave it to me
with love from your own heart
it represents our love,fate,hope, trust and respect..
knowing you will never return to me
breaks my heart
nothing will destroy
this love that I set free and sent to you up to the sky
I know one day
that love will come back
TODAY...
I removed my wedding band
I placed it in your pocket
closest to your heart
your the only man that I ever loved
I have this vivid dream
in hopes one day of you placing it upon my finger
like you did once before
I replaced it with the first ring you ever gave
the one that symbolized
the beginning of our love
you told me it didn't cost much
but it did you see
you gave it to me with
the love from your heart
as i added my tears..
that you kissed..
and placed in your heart with the touch of your hand
a love I can never touch
a love I'll never have back
but a love I will always feel
inside of my heart
I told myself..
you are someone special that I shared my love
only reason i ever took it off..
was so you would have a token
of our love by your heart
baby, you will always be that special man
that I truly love..
and for you I let it rest.
and remember our wedding day
you will always hold my love
in the pocket of your heart..
hold that love freely
as I await patiently for you
to return back to me...
