Anxious To Have You Back by Shorty

Without you,
a part of me is missing,
my other half is gone.
Even for a little while,
you're all that I hold dear.
I long to feel you,
just to see you again.
"I'm not going,
I'm just going to stay here with you,
I'll have more fun anyway.
You're all I'm going to be thinking about the whole time,
I'll miss you so much."
Staring in your eyes,
they told me,
"I'll miss you",
I said the words aloud and you get anxious,
"You're not making this any easier"
"I'm sorry, but you'll have fun, and I'll see you in a few days"
But I didn't want to miss him and not be able to see or talk to him,
but having fun with his friends was something i felt like he should do.
I want to spend time with my friends sometimes, and I know he misses his.
I will miss him more than ever;
they way his eyes tell me what he's thinking,
the way he said my eyes aked him questions,
and how he's my friend and always will be.

Shorty, your words speak to me from beyond....
a world of paradise that i have known and thanx to you i have it fresh on my mind ;-) the homecoming will be grand...take it from me i have been there many times.. a time to look forward to each and every time a bit more spicier than the last..my husband and i used to go away together on our own retreats after weekends away on our own away from one another..(this was our space time) this i believe helped keep love alive...but now he is gone forever in the heavens but the love he taught me and left behind continues on within me and i use it to love another beautiful soul that i believe may have shared his soul once before..why? because of the energy in his vibes he shares w/me......are some what of the same...his love has returned to me in another's heart...

thank you for sharing ..allowed me to remember some of the best times....
