Crimson Tears
Author: Mike

Red rivers running down my cheeks,
The droplets forming blood red streaks.
As I lay wide awake in bed,
Whispered voices echo through my head.

I try to imagine how the world would be
Without a lost and lonely figure, without me.
Would it be a better place?
Should I just run - hide my face?

All of these questions heading straight for my brain.
I have everything to lose but nothing to gain.
These crimson tears flowing from my eyes,
the cause? Pain, fear, anger, lies.

Mike! You've created a fabulous piece of art, when you say "red rivers running down my cheeks----"

Super in describing the way you feel, and comparing different things to your emotions!

Smiley face,

Thanks Meridian

This is one of my more recent ones. I changed my style and was wondering if it was good, or at least ok. Thanks for the reassurance and the compliments. :)
