Memory's From Afar
Author: Clive B Ringshall
Last night I looked at the stars so bright,
Across the blanket of the night sky I gazed,
The moon shone bright with its guiding light,
I saw your face on the same sky above,
Were your thoughts of me on this night?
I looked up and as far as I could see
Caught a formation of you and me
I saw the time we walked the shore,
The warm waters splashed at our feet,
Our hands like part of a puzzle fit just right,
We laughed together with so much love,
We talked from each beat of our hearts,
The laughter took us both to a place
Where forgotten memories were soon embraced
As we walked back home it saddens me to leave,
We'd had much fun it's to soon for an end,
Come on in, you did not ask twice,
I started the fire you made hot chocolate,
We talked much more,
Your beauty shone through,
Your smile spoke many words unsaid
Your tears told me thereís nothing to regret
As I walked to the door,
The sun shone through,
A warm feeling was felt from me to you,
Tonight we'd meet and laugh some more,
With you by my side, I'll love you much more.
To relive these memories Iíll never tire
When two hearts are burning with so much desire.

my friend you did an amazing lay -out on this...... i never thought i'd be one to comment on my own writing..LOL....but then i guess this doesn't count...i hope...or does it?....Clive , it is not i, that brings life to these words..it is the way we YOU & I allow ourselves to express freely, i give credit to my better half as you do for how i/you feel and i/you can share that love in other ways...so that others feel and understand..that love is there in all forms ...sometimes i see myself as a shooting star...searching for a soul to touch w/the love that has touched me..after all what is love if we can not share it's amazing surge...
i look forward to blending in w/you for more...

Terri do we have a thing going or what,
even with a boo boo this is still great, to say this I think is fine as I comment with your words that blend well into mine,
Yes lets do it again.
