Gremlins

Those Gremlins deep inside my soul
are wanting me to lose control.
Those Gremlins I just want to hide
I keep them locked up deep inside.

Too much trouble to let them out
even though they scream and shout.
I wish they would be quiet today
I want them all to go away.

To rid my soul of every trace
those Gremlins I will have to face.
Even if they make me cry
can't keep them locked up till I die.

I open my soul, my heart and mind
hoping those Gremlins will be kind.
I stand there ready to face and fight
then I find they just take flight.

Facing up to your innermost fear
your way in life will become more clear.
Those Gremlins may just hurt your heart
but this is the only way to start.

Bravely face your problems `head on'
Soon those gremlins will be gone.
If one creeps back and tries to sneak in
you'll find the courage from deep within.

You opened a door to salvation with two lines..,

Facing up to your innermost fear
Your way in life will become more clear.

Cap, you know me by now, and here we go.

I beleive in the two lines expressed by you. My life, and my life only {okay} I find these little Gremlins all over. Can you remember seeing those little "water spiders" that flittered across the surface like little rockets? If, not, some day you will. To me they are my Gremlins, and as futile as my efforts are, I continue to stab at them with a needle, oh, just to pin but one of those little devils! I haven't done it yet, but your words inspire to keep trying and for that, I thank You.
Very descriptive poem about how "I" sometimes feel.

Thank You Cap, your pen is very astute!
