when love moved on
it left a scar upon my heart

I never relive the ghosts of the past
I just live with the bittersweet memory
of a love that went away too fast

God gave me a memory to hold
and a life that keeps me here today
to continue to love

when love moved in
it formed another bond

love continues again today
I'm given a chance with someone new
a love that revealed itself by way of his heart

God mended my heart
by sending me someone special to love

love never died
it's spirit just went away
circling the heavens
and returned in the heart of someone new
my scar is up on the heart of the moon
watching over me

Joyce, thank you...
the message is very universal.....even on my bad days i can wake up yet with a smile, because i have someone else breathing with me ...and it feels everso sweet,ever so right, and makes me feel so complete...knowing that
his love found the perfect host and has been regained in someone elses heart...intensified his love even deeper...and i love this man so much.. accepting and been given this gift could of only been possible through a higher source...we nither question nor challenge his knowledge...i acceot the love i recieve from both...through one HEART...thank you and yes my heart as in all my writings as with any POET whether i write solo or with a friend MY HEART is always in every piece....and i hope that my writing may encourage many to feed off of it and feel it, as they become a big part of it...
