Depression by Capricorn

A mist of depression surrounds my soul,
causing my mind to be confused,
my heavy heart does not feel whole,
deep inside I feel battered and bruised.

Wish I could cast off this melancholy mood,
brush it aside like a speck of dust.
Whatever I try does no good
continue with this heavy heart I must.

What has caused this pain to swell,
within my soul like a poisoned sore?
my thoughts so confused I cannot tell,
why my emotions are so raw.

I begin to shed a multitude of tears,
which cleanses my soul and feelings,
and slowly the mist begins to clear,
my mind once blurred starts healing.

i like the rythem here.. the abab pattern.. nice .. and the way you said everything.. i relation between this and me i see... then the last stanza .. mmhmmm very nice

There is a place within yourself
that frees you from your worldly cares

It took me years to find this place

As you can see, there are no walls
