Looking into your eyes, I find that I am lost
knowing how you feel and knowing what I want,
your smile captivates me and I lose my way
longing to touch your soft lips but I can't,
my heart pounds with passion and love
could this be the end?

Fires burn and angels fall
lost in a desert of fear,
soaring the skies my soul flies
wishing you were near,
I could love you till the end of time
I dream of you but your not mine.

Wandering through my fantasies
as I stroll down this dark road, so cold,
constantly in my thoughts you are
if only you were here by me, to hold,
and feel my breath upon your heart
know that I'll never break it apart,

I wrote this as a song for a close friend, Amy, whom I would give up everything for. I liked it,so I had to post it. RubyD
