My Angel Sent From Above

You came into my life
Shining so nice and bright
Like a star in the sky
In the dark of the night
You gave me the strength and courage
To fight and face this deadly disease
That is slowly killing me
You gave me the wisdom to see
That life still has a lot to offer me
And when I was hardest hit
You picked me up and helped me live again
You showed me that it was ok
To trust again and that in you
I will always have a true friend.

This poem is dedicated to my best friend Connie Hedge who is helping me face the deadly disease of cancer. Her love and support is something that I will always hold dear to my heart. |
