D
ear
santa,
it is almost
christmas God
knows my secret..
and what I wish for
he knows all of my wants
he knows all of my desires
i asked God to please bring me
a gift from above sprinkled with
all the glory of his love I asked him
if he could wrap it with love so strong
embraced with a ribbon of lace and softly
resting in cloud like music with a heavenly song
i know your going his way please enclose this gentle
note
to
God
from
me as
you glide away in your sleigh

Dear God I am
but like a child on Christmas morning waiting
impatiently everyday..I thank.....you in advance for
my precious gift i promise not to peek i know it won't
fit under our tree I already love it before it arrives I
promised you i would wait patientlyi look forward to unwra
pping the gift I prayed for with desire I promise to open it
with care I promise to cherish it for a lifetime I promise to
sleep with it everynight i promise to love it deeply with
my heart as tears fill my eyes i thank you for this precious
gift as I hug it so
tight with the vision in my eyes day and night i
can't wait to take it to my room and privately
embrace it with my love I promise to take it
with me where ever I go I promise to share
my love with all that I know I promise to
show it off to all and let them know in
a heartbeat i would give up everything
i own i'll tell them GOD gave me
the
bestest Christmas gift of all the
most magnificent Jewel of
a heart and he is my
present from your
magnificent
love

Joyce thank you soo much...

your words really mean alot to me....yes LOVE gives us our images, our color in a black and white world..when i write as all poets do i write with an image ,and of the feelings where my thoughts and words take me, just as love has for you and me.. the best one i believe was one that Dreamer helped me create..(a butterfly image- Messenger on a wing..i wrote about the man that i now love, but it was also written with all poets in mind..he instilled it in me as he always has and continues to..)love gives us the beauty wheather our love one is very much alive or has moved on to another life...love is always present..in our words..like a daily prayer..as we thank God for both worlds...

i also wrote one for YOU "take a number..wait your turn"

Joyce,i am soooo sorry ....

the poem of the BUTTERFLY IMAGE was titled: "On the wings of a messenger"...
i think Becky did an outstanding job on it for me...remember it was also written in respect to the man in my life, before he and i became one beating heart...
