Alone

I sit here alone
and I know where you are,
it's not here with me,
but I wish you were.

You've given me so much,
and I've taken it all without even thinking.
I wish I wouldn't have been so consumed by greed,
because now that you're gone,
you are the one I need.

I don't like sitting here by myself,
we had our arguments,
but you were always there.
Now that I'm sorry,
I can't believe that you're actually gone.
I never imagined I'd be alone...
