Cries Of Pain

Oh,those cries of pain
They shake my soul
I wish for silence again
To make me feel whole

My whole life in torment seems
When will there be calm
Peace only comes in dreams
When my mind is free from harm

I try to free my soul
But the cries start again
I'll never be quite whole
Oh, those cries of pain

I feel his pain, cry his cries
With love of a mother
It will be so, till one dies
Torn apart from each other

interpretation

Very good writing.I got that the father died and the liitle boy is crying over the loss and the mother is trying to take the pain away and will be there for the child until death. Let me know if I interpert it right.

Interpretation

What a wonderful interpretation Barb, & shows how we all see different aspects in a poem. The truth is very close to home. My Autistic son has bowel problems & can suffer a lot of pain. The cries of pain are his!I wrote it some months ago when he was going through a bad time and because he cannot speak of his problems, he was crying out in pain. It was a very emotional time. He is going through a good patch now, I pray it will continue.

strength

You must be a strong person . That would be hard to watch. There are people I'd like to help but can't You feel helpless just having to wait it out
