Picked From The Forgotten And Forbidden Tree...

I feel like my love
picked me
from a forgotten
or perhaps forbidden tree
forgotten because of my love so lost
forbidden because I've only shared one heartbeat
yet he picked me from the very top
where my heart and I did hide
trying to keep out of reach
as all the others said
pick me.. pick me
and were amazed
that his heart went directly for mine
they wonder
why does she deserve love so divine
my love knew all about me
as my heart was promised to him
from the almighty above
he felt my heart break
but couldn't reveal himself to me
until enough time and years past
and he could feel
that my heart wouldn't heal
so you see
my baby is my destiny
he makes my heart pound from within his own
he breathes every breath into my soul
he is the man in my dreams
my knight in shinning armour
he is my lover, my bestfriend , my soulmate
and with Gods blessings
perhaps much more
so yes he was worth
climbing to the top of that
forgotten and forbidden tree
cause
