Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas Everyone,
Merry Christmas one and all,
Now it's time for all forgiving,
Now it's time for thanks and praise,

Long ago a child was born,
To both parents a miracle was told,
As he came into this world,
He was watched by a guiding star,
And an Angel from up above,
Without announcement all knew he was coming,

Born in a time of fear and trouble,
Older he became crossing hurdles along the way,
Talked to others in a teaching caring way,
Many did listen and followed his way,
Others with fear wanted him out of their way,
Stories were told of his good deeds done,
Stories spread like a forest ablaze,
Other came to follow his word,

Then one day as he fed with the 12,
Soldiers came and took him away,
Betrayed by fear and of course that silver,
He died the very next day,

To you and me he left us his word,
To you and me he left us a beginning,
To treat each other with respect we deserve,
Not to be to hasty to judge,
Do to others as you'd to unto you,
Let us give thanks not just for his coming,
But to pass on the warmth he still is encouraging.

Merry Christmas
To all I know and all of you I'd like to know
