Heavenly Visits

I saw someone the other day resembling you alot.
For me a brief moment in time you were alive again,
I simply just forgot.
Her mannerisms were such like yours,
her face, her hair, and her style.
For just a brief moment in time
seeing you again I began to smile.
But it wasn't you, no, not at all,
just my heart playing tricks on me.
I know though that you're always there,
just not now,
someone again I'll see.
Please come visit me again sometime,
never leave my side.
I have been so sad and lonely mom since you have died.

Shoes no one else can fill....

Shoes no one else can fill, CD, are Mom's. I can relate to this poem. Every now and then I see someone who brings Mom to mind. You never stop missing Mom. Very well expressed here. Thank you! ***Ben
